Revlon came out with a product this year that I think is noteworthy and amazing – the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain.
Traditional lip stains usually leave me a little cold, probably because I find them to be drying and that I might possibly have a lip balm addiction. I just can’t believe lip balm addiction is actually thing! So why do I like Revlon’s line of lips stains so much? The Kissable Balm does what it’s supposed to do and stains your lips without drying out your lips. It feels and smells more like chapstick than lipstick or a stain. I applied some yesterday after lunch and the stain actually stayed on up until I took my makeup off around 9:00.
I’ve been feeling bright colors lately and so far I have tried and loved the colors Romantic (bright Red), Crush (deep magenta) and Smitten (hot pink). I tried Precious (nude) too but sadly it washed me out. You can find the Kissable Balms Stains at any old Target, CVS or Walgreen’s for between $7-$9 bucks a pop. There are more expensive versions out there for sure and I am eager to try out YSL’s Glossy Stain too. But if you are looking for a hearty and moisturizing lip stain that won’t dry your lips out or empty your pocketbook start here.
