Hi there, my name is Natalie Nelson and this is my blog.

But first a little about me. I’m originally from Seattle but now I live in Chicago with this guy –

I have been obsessed with makeup since 8th grade when I bought my first lilac colored liquid eyeliner with lilac mascara to match. Quel Horror! I wish I had pictures of all that glory. I’m pretty sure I thought I was smokin hot with my lilac liner and sun-in highlights.

My taste in make-up has improved slightly over the years (thank god!) but my curiosity and enthusiasm still remain. I love nothing more than to wander around Sephora or Ulta looking for the latest Holy Grail item. I intend to share with you, dear reader, all my enthusiasm for new discoveries.

While this blog is primarily about beauty, I am a girl of many interests and passions and I cannot promise that the odd post about cooking, gardening or crafting won’t sneak in. I hope you don’t mind.
